Cultural imperialism

Today it was all about spreading culture, in the hope that we can become one big homogeneous global family and that all wars will cease.

First up is our beautiful Goddaughter Meg, showing off a few goodies from a 4th July pack we sent back to her in the UK. A premonition of when she wins Miss World...?

"...and I'd like to thank my Godparents..."

Next up is a little supply package we sent to Israel (not by boat). Daphny, you may remember, is there at the moment writing a children's tv show. As a goodbye present we wrapped up something of extreme value and slipped it into her suitcase. Amazingly she managed to wait a whole month before tucking in, and was good enough to send photos.

From our correspondent in the Holy Land:

Did anyone ask you to carry any packages or suspicious items?

What's inside...?

Only the best biscuits in the whole world!

Hands off!

Itamar, Daphny's cute, super-intelligent, and discerning nephew, agrees. Don't eat them all at once!
