Mardi Gras

Ahhh, Pancake Day.  One of the best traditions in the UK.  You're supposedly eating all the bad stuff before fasting for Lent, but that's just an excuse for frying batter and covering it with lemon and sugar, golden syrup, nutella, etc.  Also for pancake tossing and pancake races, although we kept it fairly low-key in Woking this evening.

It's all about the preparation.

But not wishing to tempt fate, it was time to eat it straight after that.
