Not for softies

Sometime last night, while eating and drinking (but mostly drinking) at Pete and Fini's, someone decided it would be a great idea to play softball today. Softball? Anyway, Shauli kindly organised the gathering and through a combination of thrift stores and Target we clobbered together enough bats, balls, and gloves to make a (vague) game of it.

Representing Berkeley, Fini and Pete (of course the dark glasses didn't come off at any point!)

I demonstrate the perfect forward defensive. Which sport is this again?

Shauli winds up for a pitch.

Fini at the plate. She played at school, and was the only person to have the slightest clue what was meant to be happening.

Pete sights the ball for a home run.

Guy throws a curveball Anat's way.

The team!

And some live action:

and the most valuable player...
