I treated myself with the purchase of a piece of art this week! Well, a print, but it's something I've had my eye on for a while. It's by a local artist called
Josh Ellingson who recently had some
great posters on the BART system. So famous did they become that someone
ripped them off to highlight a report on all the nasties and bugs that live in the BART seats (you can find the report
here. Although if you ever want to ride comfortably again you may wish to avoid it...)
Anyway, I found a great picture in his
store that just said: "no matter how bad life gets, remember that you could be a spaceman who crashed on a planet populated by giant bunnies in a rocket that looks like a carrot." And I think that's a valuable lesson for us all.
And suddenly I feel happier!
