Psycho Donuts

The best places are the ones you discover while you're on your way to somewhere else.  Didn't someone famous say that?  Well, I'm saying it now, and as proof I give you: Psycho Donuts.

We were looking for something sweet on our way to a Jummy Buffett concert and came across this unique establishment, housed in the corner of a cinema in San Jose.  And what's not to love about the place?  The waitress was dressed as a nurse, and handed out small squares of bubble wrap to relieve stress as we waited in the line (of two).  There's a padded cell you can sit in, a window with telephones either side so you can communicated with your unstable loved on...and donuts.  Wonderful donuts!  San Jose has just been added to the Davies NorCal tour route.

It does exactly what it says on the sign.

Choices include the Comfortably Numb, the Canadian Morning Squeal Meal (maple icing and bacon bits), the Dead Elvis (bananas, bacon, peanut butter, jelly) and Noses and Eyeballs (custard filled body parts).

Hannah settled for the Sticky Monkey.  Which also happened to be the biggest donut available.

Apt.

They also sell beer, so Jack was able to enjoy his favourite dessert.

Yes, I think we may have a room available...
