Who knows when the first day of summer is officially (whenever it stops raining after Christmas, if you live in England) but Vince and Christine decided to move games night to Friday afternoon to celebrate the sun. Activities included Bocce and stop-the-child-touching-the-barbecue.
It was also a goodbye meal for Amir, who's off to save the world one gorilla at a time. He's involved in International Business Development, a Haas course that sends MBAs overseas during the summer hols to do good. He'll be in Gabon putting together a business plan for their national parks and environmental programs (he's already be told that "plan" is a strong word to use in that country...) Bon voyage to him, Amanda (Mexico), Elad (Finland), and Shauli (Brazil)!
Anat tries out her innocent young mother face.
While the real innocent young mother dresses nicely!
Shauli attempts to decipher the rules of Bocce.
You always need a Texan in charge of a grill.
It's so nice to see different generations playing together.
Vince brands the meat.
While Dana and Amir decide the barbecue is for personal warmth rather than food.
It's dessert time, as Ignacio gets his chops around a smore.
