Last night it was the Haas End of Year Gala, and so we dusted off the glad rags and caught the bus into San Francisco. There we found a ballroom, a live big band, and a free bar! Except they didn't have the ingredients for margaritas. It didn't matter - the happiness of first years saying goodbye to exams and becoming second years (very happy) and second years saying goodbye to school and heading out into the big wide world (not so happy) made for a great night.
