Outs and ins

I'm very happy with the Davies Hotel advertising campaign this year, which has led to near 100% occupancy through both our summer and winter seasons.  Although Ben and Emma stayed with us for only a scant few days, they did overlap with sister Emily and Goddaughter Charity who both arrived on Friday.

It was a short but meaningful time together, culminating in a wander around the Creek and Charity's first visit to Yogurtland.  Then Ben and Emma drove off to SFO and the four of us left behind caught the train into Berkeley.  Here Charity enjoyed her second treat of the day: an oreo shake with peanut butter topping.  Tomorrow is going to be a day of self denial and moral instruction.

Emily - straight from SFO to Blue Bottle Coffee.

Charity entertains herself.  There'll be lots of that in the coming week.

Today, heading straight for the good stuff at Yogurtland.

No one can believe that something that tastes this good can be fat free!  And therefore good for you!!

Strangers in the Creek (we had to apply for them to be allowed in).

Fall colours have arrived at our apartments!

First customer complaint.

Emily outdid herself with this haul of all good things UK.

The indoctrination begins...

Well, we can't let her starve while she's in our care, can we!?
