I am not a tourist...

...but my parents wanted to see SF, so what could I do?

Pier 39 again, but this time from up high!

Mum and Dad fight over the camera

Unfortunately, Maryland had already done this yesterday.

Yay - sea lions! And tourists.

Racing out on the Bay.

This is a Liberty Ship - an essential component of the US WW2 naval fleet. Needless to say, it was invented and designed by the British.

San Francisco's most efficient transport. The cables run under the ground. Clever.

Mum and Dad on the cable car.

Down the hill to the Bay and Alcatraz.

Tourist trap?

Rush hour, SF style.

These adverts on the BART for Air New Zealand have got the locals a bit upset. Hilarious discussions ensue here, with another example here.
