High plains drifter

Here we are in Colorado! Boulder is a nice little place, like Berkeley but higher up and colder. The air is clear and we're surrounded by mountains.

It's just too easy to fly in America. Public transport took us from our door to our departure gate, where our plane had been charmingly named after Dale the sheep. Following a smooth landing it was on the Denver to Boulder bus and then checking into our motel (free wi-fi! Hooray!)

This evening we had a nice little walk around the town centre and ate at The Mountain Sun Brewery. They're having "stout month", something that we might regret in the morning. As well as the wi-fi, the motel has free bicycles for everyone who stays! What better way to clear our heads than a high-altitude bike ride? We shall see...

Wings over the mountains. You can see Dale the sheep right on the end!

Hannah with a smoothie and an organic muffin. You see, just like Berkeley!

This is the best picture of a mountain I could come up with so far. Better ones tomorrow, I promise.

Yummy!
