Stolen moments in hard times

It's nearly mid-term time for the students! This is the first set of the semester's exams (three weeks after it starts, just to make sure they've remembered to come back). As you can imagine in the competitive world of Haas Business School, stress levels are running high. Many of us poor partners have to schedule in time with our students, and those of us with nothing better to do have even started accompanying them into school.

Haas has a very nice library, where you're even allowed to bring coffee (in spill proof containers). Most people here seem to want to work, and if your student is nice they can grant you access to the AirBears wireless network - you can surf while pretending to do something constructive.
