Today we finally found a lake that we were allowed to row on (i.e. the lady hiring the boats didn't know us!) It was next door to Children's Fairyland - thankfully there weren't too many pleas to return there - and included an island inhabited by ducks and two fountains that some of us found hilarious to paddle through.
